Seeed Studio Grove Variable Color LED Element
The Grove variable color LED element is used to turn the RGB LED on or off. This is for using the Seeed Studio Grove Variable Color LED. The element is controlled by a single GPIO pin, so it can also be controlled using a GPIO pin element or PWM pin element. There are three adjustable resistors on board to change the color of the LED, otherwise you can toggle the LED on and off programatically at whichever color it’s physcially adjusted to.
The Grove Variable Color LED is initially shipped with each of its resistors set to 0 (off), so the LED won't display a color until one of them is adjusted prior to use.
The Grove variable color LED is a sensor element that can be imported into the Element Toolbox through the Add Element button located in the toolbox from the Embedded tab.
The following properties can be changed for the Grove variable color LED element:
The name of the element.
GPIO Driver Instance
The GPIO driver instance number to use.
The device’s GPIO pin the element is connected to.
The following triggers are available to execute events from within the Grove variable color LED element:
Execute an event when the source element connected to the Grove variable color LED triggers.
LED Turned On
Execute an event when the LED is turned on.
LED Turned Off
Execute an event when the LED is turned off.
Execute an event when the LED is toggled.
The following abilities are available for the Grove variable color LED element when its source element triggers:
Trigger the element(s) that follow the Grove variable color LED element.
Turn LED On
Turn the LED on.
Turn LED Off
Turn the LED off.
Toggle the led.
Atmosphere includes a selection of resources for users of all levels that demonstrate using the Grove variable LED element.
