Debug Print Element
The Debug print element is used to print data to a device’s primary debug UART console.
NOTE: While using the Rapid IoT kit, the docking station must be used in order to access the UART console.
The Debug Print Element is located in the Element Toolbox within Studio’s Embedded tab.
The following properties can be changed for the debug print element:
The name of the element.
This text, followed by a colon, will be prepended to the data that will be printed to the UART console.
The following triggers are available to execute events from within the debug print element:
Execute an event when the source element connected to the debug print element triggers.
Execute an event when data is printed to the device’s UART console.
The following abilities are available for the debug print element when its source element triggers:
Trigger the element(s) that follow the debug print element.
Print data from the connected element to the UART console.
Atmosphere includes a selection of resources for users of all levels that demonstrate using the debug print element.
To view the debug print element used within a project, click the demo’s name to open the project in Atmosphere and see how the element is set up.
