AMS TSL2572 Element
The TSL2572 element is used to measure light levels. This element is for using the AMS TSL2572 ambient light sensor.
The TSL2572 is a sensor element that can be imported into the Element Toolbox through the Add Element button located in the toolbox from the Embedded tab. Rapid IoT projects have this element imported by default.
Properties
The following properties can be changed for the TSL2572 element:
Name
The name of the element.
I2C Driver Instance
The I2C bus used to communicate with the sensor.
I2C Address
The I2C address the element sends data to.
Triggers
The following triggers are available to execute events from within the TSL2572 element:
Triggered
Execute an event when the source element connected to the TSL2572 triggers.
Ambient Light Read
Execute an event when ambient light data is read.
Abilities
The following abilities are available for the TSL2572 element when its source element triggers:
Trigger
Trigger the element(s) that follow the TSL2572 element.
Enable
Enable the sensor.
Disable
Disable the sensor.
Set Enabled State
Set the state of the sensor: enabled or disabled.
Read Ambient Light
Read the sensor’s ambient light data (in lux).
